About Jocelyn

In 1997, I received my Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, California. My work experience has been in a variety of settings, including hospital, acute rehab, out-patient, skilled nursing, home health care, and hospice.

My post-graduate training has included all of John Barnes’ Myofascial Release courses, women’s health, a year-long orthopedic manual therapy course, and many other manual/orthopedic courses.

Prior to learning and using myofascial release, I felt quite frustrated in my practice of physical therapy. I was doing what I was taught in school and post-graduate courses, however, it just did not feel complete.Treatments were myopic and targeted the symptoms, rather than the cause of the problem. I knew there was something missing.

That missing link is the fascial system and the body’s inherent wisdom to heal. My desire is to help you live pain-free.
